Whether you’re a beginner or a veteran of the game, Monroe Golf & Country Club offers everything you’ll want in a golf facility.
Our course was designed by Donald Ross, in 1919, and features his signature design elements such as narrow fairways, wavy greens, and grass-faced bunkers. His designs are revered around the world for his strategic insights. The fairways are lined with mature old growth trees and water hazards.
If you’re just getting started, we’ll get you outfitted with everything needed and help you learn how to play this exciting game. If you’re an experienced player, we’ll help you fine-tune your game, test your competitive skills, and keep you updated on the latest technology in golf equipment. As a part of the club family, you’ll enjoy the game in a variety of ways.
A well-maintained driving range and unlimited range balls are available for members to enjoy and included in membership dues. The 2,500 square foot putting green is centrally located near the patio/pool area. There are several greenside bunkers along with chipping and pitching greens.
A professional golf teacher will lead junior clinics throughout the summer months. Our junior golfers receive instruction on all aspects of course maintenance, course management, golf etiquette, rules of golf, and game fundamentals. The golf shop stocks a wide variety of equipment and apparel. Our professional staff strives to provide members with outstanding service and can provide a wide variety of assistance.
The Director of Golf will be happy to help you organize an event that best fits your needs. Events will be hosted throughout the season based on availability. Please contact the Pro Shop for details.
All players on the golf course (including the practice areas) must be properly attired. Bare torsos, undershirts, tee shirts, tank tops, and halter tops are prohibited. Jogging, tennis or athletic shorts, cut-off shorts, short shorts, and mini-skirts are not appropriate. Blue jean and denim (or material similar in appearance to denim) apparel is also prohibited. Bermuda or walking shorts and slacks for both men and women are appropriate. Proper footwear is required.
- For men: shirts must have a defined collar. Mock necks must have at least 1 ½” of material in the collar.
- For women: Blouses or tops must have at least 3 ½ “of material between the neck and shoulder.
- Members should notify guests that proper attire is required at all times.
